We have just experienced an amazing week of personal growth through a Prayer Revival conducted by Dr. David McCollum. This Prayer Revival is not your typical revival that we are accustomed to having in our churches. These services highlight the importance of prayer and call all believers to be diligent and intentional in going before our Lord. The response of the people in our church was overwhelming. Night after night the Lord worked in the hearts of many of those in attendance. On the last evening of the revival, Dr. McCollum provides an opportunity for people to come to the altar and commit themselves before the Lord to spend daily time in prayer with the Father. As I was kneeling at the altar to make my commitment, I was overwhelmed with emotion as I noticed my four children and my wife kneeling making a similar commitment. The joy that I experienced as a pastor could not compare with the joy that I experienced as a husband and a father. Many of our churches need to experience renewal by committing time to the Lord in prayer. The ministry of Dr. David McCollum equips the people to not only understand the need of prayer, but it compels people to make the commitment in their lives to enhance their walk with the Lord. I believe that this ministry will revolutionize each and every church.
