The Prayer Seminar is a five or six hour event entitled The Believer’s Balanced Prayer Life.

The purpose of the Prayer Seminar is to help a believer become an effective person of prayer. For five or six hours, an effort is made to ground the participants in the biblical aspects of a balanced and fruitful prayer life. The seminar encourages the believer to have a daily time of prayer and to employ the biblical ingredients of prayer to insure a balanced and effective prayer life.
Several presentations or scheduling patterns can be followed. The most popular being the one already shared, beginning in the Sunday morning service and continuing through Wednesday evening. This pattern usually engages the greatest number of people in the fellowship. Another scheduling possibility is an all-day Sunday Prayer Seminar. Also, a Friday night through Saturday morning seminar is a possibility. This could be two one hour sessions beginning Friday evening from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and continuing Saturday morning from 9:00 a.m. until noon. Another conceivable approach would be an all-day Saturday seminar from 9:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
The titles of each session are as follows:
Sunday Morning
The Prince of Prayer
The Prince of Prayer is an overview of our Savior’s prayer life. We stand amazed as we observe the priority of prayer in the life of our Savior.
Sunday Evening
The Power of Praise
Monday Evening
The Prayer of Asking
The Cry of Confession
Tuesday Evening
Intercession: The Labor of Love
Wednesday Evening
A Plea From The Prince
Wednesday evening closes the seminar with this stirring topic. In this closing session we strive to to get a glimpse of the yearning and longing heart of the Savior for our fellowship.
