The Prayer Revival provides a climate in which the Holy Spirit is free to convict the believer of the necessity of prayer. The basic design of the Prayer Revival is to promote a 
vital love relationship between the heavenly Father and His redeemed child. A Prayer Revival is the setting aside of several special worship services in order to ignite new love in our hearts for Christ. Henry Blackaby says: “Revival is for God’s people who need a fresh encounter, a fresh love relationship with Him.”
The Prayer Revival is not a conference. It is not an evangelistic meeting. The Prayer Revival is actually a series of revival services, usually beginning on Sunday morning and extending through Wednesday evening. Specifically, the Prayer Revival is designated and designed for God’s people to be challenged, convicted, and encouraged to experience a deeper and more meaningful relationship with the heavenly Father.
What is true and authentic revival? The word “revive” means to “live again, to be brought back to health or vitality.” Revival is for God’s people who need renewed and restored spiritual health because fellowship with God has been broken.
The Christian’s behavior will never be right unless his love relationship with Christ is right. Prayer is not a religious ritual. Prayer is a love relationship with a loving heavenly Father. A Prayer Revival is a holy invitation to begin a lifetime journey into a fellowship of intimacy with Christ. A Prayer Revival is the promotion of fresh love in our hearts for Christ.
